It's All Good
A few weeks ago, I was able to have dinner with CalTechGirl and her hubby. We met at my favorite Cali restaurant Claim Jumpers. Yum! But even better than the food was the company. It was so good!
Since CalTechGirl doesn’t like posting her picture to the public, I talked her into taking this picture with me. Don’t we look great?

That’s a great picture!
Ankle Socks
I bought anklet socks and my legs are having a hard time adjusting. The area of my leg that used to be covered by sock is very sensitive and when my jeans rub it feels weird. Almost like I have a hole in my jeans. Weird, huh?

Venting
Say someone volunteers to take on a project with their free time. They volunteer at an open meeting when asked. But then they find out that the responsibility has been given to someone else – without their knowing. This person may be disappointed they will not have a pivital role, thus the reason they stepped up. But they are more disappointed that they were informed along with those who did not volunteer. And after plans were already put in motion. Communication, people! COMMUNICATE! Just let people know what is going on and their feelings will be less hurt or not even hurt at all.
Venting done.

Texas barely beats OSU – 37 to 35
The first three quarters were bad. In the fourth quarter it was 35 – 14 with OSU winning. OSU choked and we suddenly did what was needed and brought the score to 35 – 35. With 2 seconds left on the clock we made a field goal taking the score to 38 – 35.
It was so nerve wrecking that I tore my fake nails off. Some were breaking anyway, but here is the damage I did.
And to top it all off, the score keeper at OSU would not put the final score up.

The next day the game was on ESPN classic. Just like my husband predicted. And we made it on TV for that one. They must have cut us out for the live game.

Challenger, The Eagle
During the National Anthem at the Texas/OSU game this Saturday, Challenger the eagle flew in. He is a non-releasable Bald Eagle in the care of the non-profit American Eagle Foundation. His website is down, but Wikipedia has some info about him. The pictures below may help to give some perspective. These pictures were taken at the endzone on row 61.
